Introducing Kuki OSS
Today we’re releasing Kuki OSS. Free, self-hostable, and open from day one.
Why we built this
African organisations generate operational data every day: sales, stock movement, staffing, supplier orders, etc. Almost none of it gets used to inform what happens next. Kuki turns that historical operational data into signals and actions, without requiring a data team to set up.
We built the OSS edition first, and we’re keeping it free and self-hostable permanently, not as a bait-and-switch on the way to a paid tier, but because organisations owning their own data is a core Kuki principle, not a marketing line.
What Kuki OSS does
- Ingests your existing operational data; sales, inventory, staffing records
- Runs the Kuki engine over it to surface concrete actionable signals
- Runs entirely on infrastructure you control, nothing leaves your servers
Getting started
Full setup instructions are in the docs.
What’s next
Kuki OSS is the foundation. Kuki Core — cross-industry aggregation, ML-driven models, and governance controls — is next, for teams that need more than a single merchant’s own history to work from.
If you’re running Kuki OSS or thinking about it, reach out — feedback from real usage shapes what gets built next for you far better than our internal roadmap does.
